I am a real person. A formerly fat one that is not perfect. This blog is my attempt at aggregating my day to day thoughts, highlights, and struggles with weight loss. I am not a nutritionist, dietitian, doctor, or bariatric specialist (not that any of those folks necessarily have advanced knowledge of how to lose weight…). These posts are informational opinions only. Please make your own decisions based on personal research. I assure you that none of my posts are written solely to sell or sensationalize anything. They are what I truly believe at that time, and if you read enough of my posts you’ll find that sometimes I contradict myself – this is because I change my mind, based on my own personal experience.

This blog was originally titled LearnAtMyExpense.com. The domain still points here. I regret changing it to lowcarblearning.com because, quite frankly, the former was more appropriate. I’m constantly performing personal experiments on myself in regards to weight loss and, especially now that I’ve been able to achieve my primary goal in that area, physical fitness and wellness.

Also, there are paid links on this site. There is no obligation on your part to purchase any products advertised on this website. Aside from the links that I include within my posts in which the post is endorsing the product, the glitzy ads and such are fed to the site automatically via Google’s AdSense program.
